I know that it must require a great deal of energy and resolve to have to work a regular job from week to week and then travel long distances to play a whole weekend of songs and tunes. For a fan, I look forward for a whole year to the time and occasions that I get to hear some of the most heart touching music there is -- the music of Tullamore. I cannot express the joy I felt at hearing my favorite band this weekend. The joining of Jed Marum on the last session just made it bliss for all involved. I've been a fan of Tullamore ever since I saw them at two of the annual Norman Medieval Fairs. I never knew just how talented they are until I bought a hammered dulcimer for a retirement present to myself. Ouch. Tullamore's shift between instruments and personnel on the "Em Reels" live recording is so smooth you'd think there were far more people involved. Truly grand musicians! I've relocated to Arizona so I truly hope that the group heads west for a change instead of just east. Mary - what make and octave range of HD are you playing? I'm intensely curious.

It is a small genre is Celtic music, but what we lack in quantity, we more than make up for in quality. It is always a sad event for me to hear the final song of a weekend sung by our favorite band, Tullamore.
